Narrative

This was the address of Alexander Williamson and Jean Fairgrieve, with whom the family were staying after Alexander's demobilisation from the British army after World War 2. Alexander lived with his wife, Annelore Prüter, in Musselburgh until he had completed his apprenticeship as Cartographical Engraver with the firm John Bartholemew in Edinburgh.
