Narrative
According to Jennifer Page, the Nott family recounted how Wallace returned from Belgium for Christmas 1914, during which time a young Belgian lady appeared on his family's doorstep claiming she was pregnant and that Wallace was the baby's father. "Wally did the right thing and married her" (in Bristol). During the war his wife lived in the UK, at first in Bristol and later in Penarth Wales. They moved to Belgium after the war.
